Whenever any motor vehicle or combination of vehicles whose actual length, including
the load thereon, shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet and is not subject to the provisions
of Section 82-6-45, such vehicles shall, when operated during the hours of darkness, be equipped with
reflectors of a type approved by the Superintendent. Such reflectors shall be mounted
on the widest part of the towed vehicle or the load thereon so as to be visible from
the front and sides of the vehicle. (3-13-63; 1961 Code, § 16-181.)
