§ 65-6-11. Car wash installations.

(a)

Car wash installations shall be equipped with a water recycling system approved by the Building Official.

(b)

No coin-operated car wash shall be installed or used until plans have been submitted to and approved by the Building Official. The plans shall show the method of connection to an approved sanitary sewer system, disposal of rain or surface water, and the protection of the potable water system.

(c)

Any water-connected device or appliance requiring a continuous flow of five (5) gpm or more and not previously listed in this Section shall be equipped with a water recycling system approved by the Building Official. (15-95-65; 18-98-65.)
