§ 3-3-48. Nonretroactivity to members retired or terminated prior to July 1, 1974.

The benefits provided by this Article shall not apply to members retired or terminated prior to July 1, 1974, and their rights and benefits shall be determined under the ordinance in effect prior thereto. However, retirement allowances determined thereunder shall be subject to post-1974 cost-of-living adjustments. (1961 Code, § 9-118; 11-74-9; 20-81-3; 3-16-3; 22-18-3.)
