§ 3-3-37.1. Joint and last survivor option for disability beneficiaries.

A member of the System who applied for an ordinary or service-connected disability retirement allowance, including those members who are determined to be eligible for severe service-connected disability retirement by the Board, on or after July 1, 1988, may, before his or her actual retirement date, elect the joint and last survivor option provided by Section 3-3-33(c).
