§ 32-1-1. Definitions.

  • (a)

    For the purposes of this Article:

    (1)

    Trailer shall include any vehicle designed or used or maintained for use as a conveyance upon highways, so designed and so constructed as to permit occupancy thereof as a temporary dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons and any mobile home as defined in Va. Code Ann., § 36-71.

    (2)

    Trailer park or Trailer camp shall mean any site, lot, field or tract of land upon which is located one or more trailers, or is held out for the location of any trailer, and shall include any building, structure, tent, vehicle or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the equipment for such park.

    (3)

    Trailer lot shall mean a unit of land used or intended to be used by one trailer, in a permanent or semipermanent location, whether in a trailer park or camp or not; provided, that the term trailer lot shall not mean a unit of land used or intended to be used by one trailer on a transient basis not to exceed a period of two (2) weeks. 2 []
